This week I learned all about ratios, I watched all the videos and had a clear idea of what a ratio was, I did four different examples of ratios and an explanation, here is my work!
Now you know what a ratio is, are you ready to try and solve a question yourself? if there are 13 cows and 27 horses, what would the ratio of horses to cows be?Kia ora, I am a student at St Francis of Assisi School, Welcome - Haere Mai. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note my work may include spelling or other errors because some of it will be my first drafts. I would like to get your feedback - comments, thoughts, questions and ideas to help me Learn Create Share.

Great Graphs for Tumu Hub!
This week for math we made two different types of graphs to show the birthday months people have in our teams Rātā, Mānia, Korokio and Kōhia. We also had to include two statements that you can see from the graphs. I think I did pretty well and chose graphs which make sense, I had to change some of the headings for capital letters but it turned out well and I thought it was fun learning about graphs.
Have you ever made a graph using google sheets?Wednesday, March 17, 2021

Multiplication using rounding and compensating. I made a learn create share for this, and I did three questions rounding up and three questions rounding down. Here is my work I hope you enjoy:

All about angles!
Hey guys.
Today we learned all about angles, we measured angles with protractors and learned about 90 degree angles 180 degree angles and more. We also learned about acute and obtuse angles, a acute angle is a angle 90 degrees or lower and a obtuse angle is a angle above 90 degrees. We made a piece of art with a protractor where a 90 degree angle was yellow a 180 degree angle was green a obtuse angles is red and a acute angle as blue. Here is my art.
Have you ever used a protractor?Thursday, June 25, 2020
